Our ethics
We're not tree huggers, we just believe in leaving things as we find them.
We work really hard to limit our impact on the environment. Fortunately everyone in the business feels the same way, which is why our recycle bins are regularly overflowing. We work with a couple of organisations who are equally as passionate. Our friends at Dove weigh and recycle our glass, plastic and tin, whilst our friends at Olive helped us become carbon neutral in 2010.
In 2008 we achieved ISO 9001 and 14001 certification and were carbon neutral by 2010. We will expect all of our external business partners to be equally as responsible. This is our current sustainability policy.
As a good corporate citizen, we also like to help other people and organisations. Pro bono initiatives include anything from raising awareness of cocaine use, to rebranding the Africa Centre, we even helped Rhys Jones with his attempt to sail down the Mississippi in a recyclable paper boat! We can't lie, it makes us feel good, but more importantly we give something back and hopefully help to make a difference.
Integrated Environmental and Quality Policy
LCG has an Integrated Environmental and Quality Policy, which is displayed internally and published with tender documentation where required. If an external interested party requests information about the significant environmental aspects, senior management will review the request and make the information available if appropriate.
